Lets answer the age-old question of every comic collector, "Where can I
find back issues of comic books?" After all, we all know that
back issue comics
are the heart and soul of all comic book collections!
Some good places to start are your local comic shops and comic book stores.
However, if you're looking for rare comics, such as golden age and silver age,
you may have a tougher time. For example, Action Comics 1
& Hulk 181 are back issues a lot of collectors want to find,
but no local comic book dealers have them. Another instance of where your local comic book
shop may not have what you're looking for is CGC, certified, or graded books.
In that case, it may be worth checking out online comic book shops, stores and
retailers to buy your back issue comic books. Listed here are several links to places where you can look that
will have comic books for sale that you can order. This is especially helpful
if you are nervous about what you're going to get on eBay, and want to find a
reputable shop (don't get me started on eBay.com horror stories!) Now suppose
you need help grading comics, or you want to find out the value of your old
comics? The list on this website also includes vintage dealers who appraise comic book
prices and values.
